With more and more people adopting ecological lifestyles, they want everything around them to be green, hygienic and environmentally friendly. They want the transportation mediums to be carbon free. Their eco predilections urge them to socialize with likeminded souls on somewhat a regular basis. Moreover, some want to see public places transformed into hubs that could allow them to share their environmental concerns.
With his aim to answer the abovementioned demands, French designers Germain Verbrackel and Ivan Rodriguez have come up with a concept furniture piece that blends a bicycle park with a bench and a plant pot. Dubbed as Modul, the concept urban furniture is fully modifiable. Consisting of three modules, i.e. a plant pot, a bench and bicycle, each module is perfectly adaptable to create a multitude of possibilities. Made from steel, the individual parts can be assemble so that they may acquire myriad shapes to fulfill different requirements.
