H2 Energy: Portable electricity generating device uses water, emits vapors

Even the best ideas mean nothing until they’re realized or inspire someone to devise ways to make their realization possible. At the prestigious James Dyson Awards, we often come across such stunning eco concepts, which, if realized, could make our life easier or better in some way. H2 Energy is one such novel idea that seeks to provide renewable electricity to millions of people residing in remote areas or calamity-hit places.

The concept device relies on fresh or saltwater to produce electricity – emitting nothing but water vapor. Using a universal fuel, i.e. water, the H2 Energy concept seeks to provide mobile electricity to underprivileged societies across the globe. The innovative concept device takes its inspiration from a technical study carried out by Andrés Ginés – Electric Generator on Water, patent (No. 201131572). The designers further worked on the technical findings to come up with the blueprints of H2 Energy. The device relies on super efficient electrolysis to achieve usable electricity.
