When it rains, we often see some restless souls enjoying the soothing effect of raindrops rather than hedging their bets and seeking a refuge. Now we have a specially designed raincoat for those who, despite belonging to the second category, aspire to be in the former group. Designed by Wang Ya Meng and Zhang We Yi, the Detachable Disposable Raincoat allows people at public places to face moderate, sudden showers with extreme ease.
Made with biodegradable plastic, the specially designed raincoat can be folded neatly into a rectangular shape and can be torn off a roll for use in emergency. Once it has served the purpose, what a user need to do is throw it in a bin where it would biodegrade eventually.
The Detachable Disposable Raincoat features a black line, which, aside from making the raincoat adjustable, stands for a breakpoint for ease of use in emergency.
