Thinking along similar lines, folks at Shannxi University of Science & Technology have come up with their Clip•Holding the sunshine concept that fuses a solar panel with a LED light panel. The solar powered light promises sustainable illumination when you need it the most.
The highly practical, digital product flaunts a simple chip clip like design. While it has a solar panel to harness renewable solar energy on one of its sides, the other side features a LED light panel and a touch switch. When switched on, the LED light fetches solar energy from the other side and utilizes it to provide a bright radiance.
We can’t see any reasons for it not hitting production lines anytime soon.
