There is no dearth of designers who keep suggesting eco designs for helping us adopt a greener lifestyle. Conceived by Italian industrial designer Aboozar Jameh Tahaf, the ROLLIT is one such partially green, ideal furniture design for those who love being surrounded by books, journals and magazines. The semi-transparent desk combines a desk with a bookshelf, which is further made from a recycled bicycle rim.
The upper glass surface has a hole to allow users pick their favorite book; however, they need to roll the wheel to choose the book they want to read. Since Aboozar collaborated with Stramandinoli company to bring his design into existence, he selected component materials through the company’s resources to conceive his design.
