A great artist and an eco entrepreneur in his own right, Makoto Azuma has been quite successful in inspiring all with his conceptual artworks and bonsai arrangements. Some of his works made heads turn at various exhibitions in Japan, Italy, Israel, China, France and the US. Now, with his intent to take bonsai to another, higher level, the artist has conceived and created an installation which allows a bonsai tree to draw its nutrition from water. Dubbed as Water and Bonsai, the fully glazed aquarium houses a beautifully curved deadwood of Sabina chinesis, which is further adorned with java moss resembling leaves and trunk.
Next, to ensure that the Bonsai tree continues to be alive, the artist equips his aquarium with a filtration system that keeps purifying water, LED lights for stimulating photosynthesis and carbon dioxide as well. Moreover, it looks more beautiful than any other aquariums available on the market.
