SuttonBeresCuller’s Small Moons made from donated, recycled household objects

SuttonBeresCuller’s Small Moons art installation donated, recycled household objects 1

Owing to 13 years of experience and a clean, green conscience, folks at SuttonBeresCuller know exactly how to endow discarded things with respectability and transform such stuff into unique installations. The Seattle-based design trio of John Sutton, Ben Beres and Zac Culler has created an art installation dubbed Small Moons using superfluous objects like trashed skateboards, toys, books, lamps, stuffed animals, statues, tvs, fans etc.

The large-scale art installation features several spherical, geodesic dome armatures that seek to express eco sensibilities of Louisville who responded well to a Craigslist ad – sponsored by artwithoutwalls – that asked them to donate the unwanted objects lying at their abodes.

Currently on display at the Land of Tomorrow gallery in Louisville, Kentucky, the intriguing installation is a strong statement on the need for recycling and reusing abandoned stuff.
