As we step into the New Year, we hope to go beyond past year’s inhibitions (if any) and make best efforts to realize what we haven’t attained thus far. But then, lest you forget your resolution and repent later, it’s always advisable to jot them down on a piece of paper or a diary, as per your wish.
Just to add another artistic dimension to your diary-keeping habit, creative folks at OriginalCloth have designed and created the 2013 Crochet Cover Diary from recycled yarn.
Measuring approx 6.5″ L x 8.5″ H x 1.5″ W, the 2013 Crochet Cover Diary utilizes yarn made from discarded fabrics in the garment industry. For creating yarn for the diary, the Etsy artist sorts, shreds and re-spins the discarded fabric. Priced at $15.75, the multicolored – dusky brick pink and grey color – diary flaunts a coarse yet firm texture. However, if you don’t like the yarn surface, you can always remove it altogether to reveal the A5-sized piece of stationery.
