Incandescent lava dome builds up in Peru volcano crater

molten lavaIts three weeks. And the Ubinas volcano in southern Peru does not seem to cease! It’s still erupting, killing livestock and polluting water. But, some residents are reluctant to leave. But, the army has now been brought in to help evacuate nearby villages.

A dome of incandescent lava seems to be building up in the crater! This is warned by Peru’s Institute of Geophysics. It is over a radius of six kilometers (3.5 miles), the volcano has been spewing out acid-laden ash and smoke. Symptoms of eye and breathing problems are being found in local people.
