This is found by the ocean-floor sediment cores’ new analysis, which was collected near the North Pole. This finding bolsters the prediction that massive amounts of greenhouse gases were released into the Earth’s atmosphere.

Present evidences of climate and computer models suggest the modern Arctic is rapidly warming! Due to carbon emissions, it is gaining precipitation and becoming ice-free. Has the interval known as the Paleocene/Eocene thermal maximum, or PETM repeating itself?
