Vermont Witnessed Rare Asian Black-Tailed Gull

It’s a rare experience for the US residents. The black-tailed gull from Asia is supposedly spotted for the first time on Lake Champlain of Vermont. According to a bird watching expert, there are 20 to 25 records of the bird being spotted in North America, most of them in Alaska. It is predicted that they now should be flying around the seas of Japan or the northeast China. It is also speculated that the darker gull with its unusual red marking on the bill, was thrown off course by a storm, migrated in the wrong direction or could have gotten a ride on a ship.
