It is not just this new genus of cricket discovered. To add to the amazement, four more new species of crickets have been identified from the spring samples. A barklouse was also found in the caves fort he first time in North America, though it is common in South America.

Thanks to Kyle Voyles, a state of Arizona cave coordinator and a physical science technician with the Bureau of Land Management, and J. Judson Wynne, a Northern Arizona University doctoral candidate for making the discovery from a spring sample taken from the area.
