Kilimanjaro Ice Cap Disappearing Dramatically!

mount kilimanjaro

Five years are gone, after it was warned that the famed ice fields on Tanzania ‘s Mount Kilimanjaro may melt. It is disappointing for the Ohio State University researchers to find now that their prediction is coming true.

The loss of the ice atop Africaa’s highest peak has several consequences. Following the vanishing ice, the phenomenon is disregarding the loss of tourism. To know the worst thing, it could add to the heavy drought burden already facing those living near that mountain.

The ice fields capping the mountain would disappear between 2015 and 2020. Thompson and his colleagues horrified the scientific community with this prediction in 2002. Blame global warming for this yet another natural catastrophe.
