Four Rare-Panda Twins Born in China

Here is an exciting news for the conservationists as it seems the rare, endangered animal – panda – is booming. Chinese breeding centers have witnessed the birth of two more pairs of panda twins, summing upto four babies in the last week, the government media announced Sunday.

According to the Xinhua News Agency, three of the new babies are female, while the sex of the fourth is still unknown – as its mother is still holding it.

While on one hand, Panda Xi Mei gave birth to twin cubs Saturday at the Wolong Giant Panda Protection and Research Center, another panda, Qian Qian, gave birth to twins Thursday. Wolong Giant Panda Protection and Research Center is located near the southwestern city of Chengdu.
