We all know hat the ozone hole over the Antarctic is recovering. But, it is recently discovered that it will recover nearly 20 years later than previously thought — around 2068! This has been concluded by NASA and other agencies’ scientists.
A new tool, developed by NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Center for Atmospheric Research scientists has made this discovery. The tool is a math-based computer model that is capable of predicting the timing of ozone hole recovery. The findings will be published in the recent Geophysical Research Letters.
