Bush focuses on alternative fuel technology to mark Earth Day

george w bush6After the Kyoto Protocol event, many people across the world are curious about how President Bush marked the Earth Day on this April 22. He highlighted and focused on technology that could help U.S. depend less on oil. But the Democrats, to criticize White House energy policy, used a spike in gas prices.

Bush on Saturday, toured the California Fuel Cell Partnership promoting technology. He wanted to revolutionize the way cars are powered, which includes vehicles that run on hydrogen fuel cells. He stresses on providing cars that emit no pollution and will be more efficient compared to gas-powered cars.

But, experts don’t seem to be optimistic about this idea, as they feel it is not practicable to use fuel-cell vehicles in a widespread way in two or three decades now!
