US hurricane season starts today!

Coastal America is threatened with series of tropical storms, which may unleash a fresh devastating season, with severe turbulence to kick up ahead. It is somewhere over the Atlantic that warm sea surface temperatures and winds are joining hands to brew up these storms.

With New Orleans not yet been able to recover form the burns of Katrina, perhaps a new hurricane season is readying its devastating strength fast. A team of hurricane experts at Colorado State University made a new forecast predicting 17 named storms in 2006! It includes nine hurricanes too.

The World Disaster Report of University of Colorado has enlisted the names of infamous hurricanes for 2006.
