To allow millions of homeowners across the UK to place wind turbines and solar panels on their houses, the government is to lift off the planning restrictions.

With this proposal being announced within 10 days, the homeowners will no longer need planning permission for installing renewable energy technologies on their homes.

That the turbines and panels might ruin the residential landscapes, it may kick off a controversy, but environmentalists and environment-concerned researchers hope that this it is by 2050, the micro-generation could provide 30-40 per cent of UK’s electricity needs.
