Toronto Hydro has planned WiFi network across the city. Though the technology will see a path-breaking development of the city, the city’s health officials do not seem to be much happy with the plan. They want to learn more about the potential impacts Toronto Hydro’s planned venture might have on the citizenry.
Although Hydro officials insist studies have shown wireless to be safe, city Health Department officials want to address concerns from residents who worry that constant exposure to WiFi signals might make them sick. That the department was in the early stages of trying to learn more about the project, Toronto Public Health told the Toronto Sun Friday. This plan seems to have kicked up a controversy among the two groups – and its only time, facts and mostly business that can lead it to a conclusion.
