The environment is in its fury, and does not seem to cool down until it revenges all its century-old scars. The river Danube is swelling higher! And it has already hit a flow rate of 15,900 cubic meters per second for the first time, which equals the record that was set more than 100 years ago, according to the environment ministry.
For April, a normal flow is around 7,900 cubic meters per second. Along the river’s banks, the government on Friday declared a state of alert in 12 districts. But, it now fears that in the coming days, the river will continue to rise.
