Swiss digital artist and eco designer Raphael Faeh has been voicing his concerns over environmental degradation and the need for taking some immediate action to correct it for quite some time now. The eco artist now takes the same quest further as he creates some cool lighting options from stuff that we normally discard like plastic buckets, bottles and so on.
Dubbed as Scrap Lamps, the unique lighting options require no packaging materials as such. With their modest fabrication, the Scrap Lamps seek to offer a sustainable alternative to otherwise costly and environmentally unfriendly lamps. Each of the scrap lamps includes a CFL bulb to ensure that the light doesn’t consume much electricity. Moreover, the lamps don’t require much packaging material as well.
