When we find a discarded gadget or other such item on the street, we normally put it in the dustbin or, in most cases, expect someone else to do that for us. But then, since we can’t expect all to be that considerate towards environment, discarded stuff stays littered on the streets until someone picks it up and makes it usable. Colorado-based Andy Schulman is one such thoughtful soul who morphs ‘relics awaiting new lives’ into illuminating art. He recycles trashed stuff into one-of-their-kind chandeliers and table lamps, which promise to illuminate your environs for sure.

At the Afterglow Studio, you could find his One-of-a-kind collection, which includes several of his masterpieces lined up for your appraisal. While the Revolver table lamp utilizes antique tin mold and a stamp rack, the Bender gives a fresh lease of life to a discarded electric rectifier and compression springs. Equally stunning is the Constellations, entirely made from assorted glassware and braided wire. The Kitchen Kit is made from recycled kitchen utensils, glassware and steel box, while the Light Ware utilizes candy dishes, vases, tins and silverware.
