turtle72 1822

Plastics have use in all sectors of the economy. Though they have had a remarkable impact globally, it has become increasingly obvious that there is a price to be paid for their use. Plastics degrade very slowly. In some cases, burning plastic can release toxic fumes. In addition, the manufacturing of plastics often creates large quantities of chemical pollutants. Manufacturing of plastic affects the environment and steps should be taken so that there is a lower environmental cost.

Plastics New Zealand Incorporated is a leading trade association which has been adopting various means and ways to manage their business and production from the perspective of environment.
