Yet, another discovery that enchants the nature’s treasures – it is not just the discovery of a new species of snake. What amazes the most is its ability to change skin color! The ability to change skin color is known in some reptiles like chameleon, but snake! – it is very rare.
The conservation group WWF informed that this bizarre snake is discovered in the swamps of Borneo Island, where some 361 new animal and plants species have been discovered since 1996.
The snake is poisonous and half-meter long. It is found in wetlands and swamped forests around the Kapuas river in the Betung Kerihun National Park, on the Indonesian part of Borneo island last year.
