Meet NanoLight, the world’s most energy efficient LED lightbulb

NanoLight world’s most Energy Efficient Light Bulb 1

Nowadays there is no dearth of lighting options on the market which seek to illuminate your interior space with all vibrant, colorful glow. However, when it comes to energy efficiency, most of these lighting options fail to satiate the needs of eco conscious homeowners. Now, with their intent to introduce the world’s most energy efficient lightbulb, the design trio of Gimmy Chu, Tom Rodinger, Christian Yan have come up with NanoLight – a LED lightbulb that promises to generate over 1600 lumens of light by using only 12 watts of electricity.

The proposed lightbulb will produce light equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulbs while consuming much less energy than the latter do. The innovative LED lightbulb will distribute light evenly in all directions. Contrary to most lightbulbs that usually take some time before achieving full brightness, the NanoLight flaunts instant-on capabilities. Designers say that NanoLight features energy efficient design, which further ensures minimum heat loss.

Operating at 133 lumens per watt, the NanoLight is 200 percent more efficient than any other light bulb at our disposal. The NanoLight will be available in three versions: 10W NanoLight (75W-Equivalent), 12W NanoLight (100W-Equivalent) and 12W NanoLight (1800 Lumens). Flaunting a 25-30 years lifespan, each NanoLight lightbulb will ensure to provide 4000k of warm, neutral white light. If funded successfully, developers will release it in either 220V AC (Europe/Asia Pacific) or 120V AC (North America/Japan) so that users may use them worldwide.
