Know All About Your 'Hybrid' Vehicle

‘Hybrid’ is the present buzzword in the world of concern for the increasing global warming scenarios. Though most consumers have heard of hybrid vehicles, many of them could not explain what it is and how does it work for and in your vehicle.

‘Hybrid’ is stated as something of mixed origin or composition. This definition is said to fit today’s hybrid vehicles perfectly. A hybrid car is a vehicle that has both a gasoline engine and an electric motor. Allowing the electric motor to compensate with energy, the gasoline engine is often smaller than in regular vehicle.

Here the electric motor is charged by a high-voltage battery. Newer hybrids recharge themselves when not in use, although older hybrid cars need to be ‘plugged up’ when not in use.
