Mud, gas and boiling water have been gushing out of the ground in East Java since May. And, in the process, the catastrophic phenomenons are submerging half a dozen villages and 20 factories. But, do you know that such phenomenon could continue for a century with ‘catastrophic consequences’?

Yeah, European experts have revealed this scary prediction recently. While on one hand, efforts to seal the channels through which the mud is escaping are unlikely to succeed, it is also impossible to tell how much fluid remains underground! That really sounds helplessness in the hands of nature resulting in catastrophe!! A University of Oslo geology team has informed this.

Adriano Mazzini told a press conference in Jakarta,

It’s unlikely to stop permanently for a long time… It’s hard to say when the overpressure will have been fully released. It could be one, 10 or 100 years. But to seal it will be very, very difficult… It will be catastrophic.

Mazzini further fears that unless the flow stops soon, the already sinking affected land could subside significantly, leading to an unimaginable catastrophe!
