Our careless attitude toward things lying listless around us makes them despicable and vulnerable to neglect. However, with a bit of creativity and an eco urge to instill new life into those superfluous leftovers, we can morph them into truly usable assets, which could serve us for some more time before finally ending up in a landfill. With his intent to highlight the same, Dutch artist Frank Halmans takes discarded vacuum cleaners and coverts them into sculptural works of architecture.
According to DesignBoom, Halmans worked on the usability aspect of vacuum cleaners and, through his imagination and creativity, makes them more utilizable than otherwise. Thus, the highly symbolical works of art gain architectural heights thanks to Halmans’ ingenuity. Moreover, the recycled vacuum cleaner, home-shaped sculptural artworks seek to explore domestic world with a new twist.
