China floods killed more than 50, leaving 400,000 homeless

Season rains in China is turning havoc for the habitants. Causing floods and landslides, the rain has already killed more than 50 people in southern China, official state media informed.

Official news agency Xinhua reported that the flood has killed 41 people on Thursday in Fujian province. Mudslides too killed 12 people more in Wuzhou, in Guangxi region. At least 24 people are reported to have injured.

The heavy showers this season have already forced more than 400,000 people from their homes. According to the government, this summer’s floods, in some parts of China are perhaps the worst in three decades.
