Blame human activities for raising hurricane-forming ocean temperatures

hurricane formation mechanism

Rising ocean temperatures are responsible for boosting hurricane-growths. And when it happens in key hurricane breeding grounds of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, who can save the coastal countries fro its lash? And, it is we, — the human beings — who are responsible for this destruction!

A study found that green house gas concentrations are increased in the key breeding grounds primarily by human activities. The study is published online in the September 11 issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

The warming sea surface temperatures of the tropical Atlantic and Pacific oceans, over the last century, are linked to human activities! To find this, the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the Boulder-based National Center for Atmospheric Research and scientists from eight other research centers have used 22 different computer models of the climate system.
