Blame Algae for Global Warming

Do you still blame climate change for the altering ecosystem in the Arctic fresh water lakes? And blame this climate change for humans? You can share it with algae. Scientists deduced that plant life in the remote lakes in the Arctic began to increase 150 years ago and is now growing almost exponentially year by year. 30-centimetre core samples collected from the bottom of six lakes on Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic are found with levels of chlorophyll a, which confirmed the findings. The core samples of the experiment contain 5000 years’ worth of data from an area almost untouched by human activity. It is speculated that the past experiments have failed to show a convincing link either because of they covered too short a geological period or they were conducted in areas where human activity could have affected the results.
