Avatar Architettura creates Recycled Pallet Pavilion for German Institute of Culture

AVATAR ARCHITETTURA, the Italian based architecture and industrial design firm has been devising environmentally friendly architectural designs for more than ten years now. Now this time, the design firm puts forth a pavilion made from recycled wooden Pallets. Dubbed as Recycled Pallet Pavilion, the fun pavilion serves as a rough and ready art installation, standing proud at the Villa Romana at the German Institute of Culture in Florence.

Made from numerous diamond-shaped pallets, the 100 square foot installation flaunts nice-looking wooden walls. Just to ensure proper ventilation and daylight vision – from inside as well as outside – the designers have left the gaps open between the pallets. Another fact that should keep you interested is that the entire installation was made in just four days. As you can see in images below, the seemingly portable, prefabricated pavilion flaunts the use of transparent PVC to maintain that airy feel.
