Are wind turbines really that great?

lossCritics of Wind Turbines say they cause an irreparable loss sometimes by harming multitudes of environmental beings and even the human beings.

For example,on October 16 2003, Turbine 68, following excavations for the 49-metre tower’s huge foundations, the peat bog above the village of Derrybrien in county Galway, Ireland, started moving, because of which approximately half a square kilometer of bog went 2.5 kilometers down the hillside, swallowing up an uninhabited farmhouse and jamming two roads.

The downpour swapped peat soup into the Abhainn Da Loilioch River, where the slush killed fifty thousand and affected 50 thousand more. Though later on, operators were fined, and new working practices were adopted, still the residents of Derrybrien cannot forget the nightmare they experienced.
