Designers Florian Dussopt and Julie Girard from Anna Gram studio have conceived and created a digital clock that runs on the energy of a lemon. The experimental clock can run for a week or longer on the energy of a lemon.
With no rocket science involved, the Citrus Clock relies on simple electrolysis which is used in most conventional batteries. When the open-faced lemon comes in contact with the zinc and copper plug, a reaction occurs which generates enough juice to allow the digi clock run for a week or longer without asking for another lemon.
