World’s first bamboo smartphone, ADzero flaunts notable specs

With their plans to introduce the world’s first bamboo smartphone at Kickstarter, the limited edition phone is en route to its realization. Named ADzero, the bamboo phone promises to pack in some amazing features and specs to satiate the penchant of its prospective buyers. Just recently, at the Droidcon, the ADzero team revealed the final design and specifications of the upcoming Android handset. Moreover, the makers also announced pricing and early bird discounts for backers at Kickstarter.

Specifications of ADzero bamboo smartphone include 1.4 GHz Samsung Exynos 4 quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or the AD Android Operating System (ADAOS), and support for GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz; UMTS/HSPA+ 1900/2100 MHz networks. The 134 x 68 x 11.8 mm includes a 4.5-inch TFT LCD with 720×1280 HD Resolution, 326ppi. Other features include a rear-facing with 8MP f/2.0 back illuminated sensor and RingFlash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. Moreover, the ADzero smartphone will support 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi.

ADzero offers a slew of pricing options though you need to back the project at Kickstarter for that. While the final retail version will be sold for $700, those who are lucky enough to claim their Early Bird Special ticket will get their smartphone for $500 only. Another option requires customers to lay down $600 for a $300 deposit beforehand. So, you need to act really fast.
