With their aim to make healthy products available to all, Walgreens has introduced a nationally accessible, harmful chemicals-free line of household liquid products. Dubbed Ology, the range of eco friendly products include personal care, cleaners, baby care, laundry, CFL bulbs and paper products (bath and facial tissue, toilet paper, paper towels and copy paper).
How green is the Ology line of products actually? Right from ingredients, manufacture to packaging, which includes use of 100 percent post-consumer materials, the products are greener than what you find at retail stores across the country. As Treehugger points out, the shampoo label has only one potentially harmful ingredient, i.e. phenoxyethanol, out of 13 ingredients.
Available at Walgreens and Duane Reade locations, the Ology brand products should interest eco conscious consumers. Those who don’t have access to these stores may buy Ology products here.
