Sugar cane for making jeans! Yes, jeans. A Japanese company goes innovative with the cereal. It blended sugar cane used is Sweet Sorghum and selvage denim to weave jeans. The cane is also called Sweet Millet or Sugar Millet. The cane is a type of grass grown all over the world for making molasses-like syrup and animal feed. this fiber carefully weaved into a fabric, have a faint sweet smell and may have occasional woody tufts poking out of the fabric. Some jeans are also dyed with persimmon. It is a great report by Justin Thomas.
