Nowadays, there is no dearth of solar powered battery chargers on the market. But then, when it comes to charge more than one gadget at a time, most of them fail to satisfy those who need a fast, clean recharge for multiple mobile and fixed gadgets. However, we’ve a solar powered charger lined itself up for garnering backers’ support at Kickstarter that promises to charge multiple gadgets simultaneously.
The proposed solar charger, dubbed as eClipse, will utilize high-efficiency crystalline solar panels to covert photons into electrons for providing a renewable recharge to its onboard battery. As the team members put it, the solar panels are capable enough to recharge the onboard battery to 3/4th of its actual capacity in about three hours. For a full recharge, the battery will take five hours or so. The creators plan to introduce eClipse in three configurations, including eClipse1U, eClipse2U and eClipse4U. The numbers denote the number of USB ports onboard.
Moreover, while the eClipse1U uses only direct sunlight and recharges a single USB equipped device, the other two devices will flaunt a 6600mAh battery and a 13,600mAh battery respectively and will recharge your portable or fixed gadgets at any time of the day.
