Denimu morphs discarded jeans into amazing paintings 1

We see people donning their denims until the fabric starts wearing away and loses its charm eventually. Some people, however, take this fashion fixation to its next level by transforming the discarded jeans into impressive artworks. British artist Ian Berry belongs to the same creed of denim lovers who – thanks to his incomparable art – creates amazing fabric paintings out of jeans of varying shades. Also known as Denimu, Ian cuts different shades, colors and shapes out of discarded pants, and uses them as viable media to express varying connotations.

According to MyModernMet, Denimu’s art is an expression of his childhood obsession (awareness rather) which forced him to go creative with a pile of old jeans he found in him childhood home in Huddersfield, England. He repurposed the “iconic fabric” into amazing landscapes, which further involved detailed cutting, stitching and pasting of individual snippets. As you can see in the above image and the gallery below, his denim art is indisputably impressive, to say the least!
