Amazing bell shaped birdhouse gives discarded cocktail shaker a new lease of life 2

Karen Schmelz loves creating unique birdhouses out of things that are no longer wanted. Through his sheer art and imagination, he recycles those discarded pots and containers into amazing functional pieces of garden art. Karen had been a music teacher for 30 years before he started selling his one-of-a-kind and handmade birdhouses at his Etsy shop, DryDockCreations.

All of his creations are stunning to say the least; however, the Recycled Bell Shaped Cocktail Shaker Birdhouse is the best of the lot, we believe. Featuring a wooden handle and a wooden perch, the chrome-plated birdhouse is adorned with copper wire, a metal leaf ornament, and some white and blue beads. Further, it has a removable top for cleaning it out and a drainage hole that serves as a passage for surplus water.

As far as its dimensions are concerned, the stunning birdhouse measures 10½-inches to the top of the handle and is 5½-inches wide at its bottom. Priced at $95 only, the functional garden art object will sure help you keep your feathery pets interested.
